Welcome to the “From The Arena To The Cross” Rodeo Bible Camp Registration page. The Rodeo Bible Camp is again being held at Bar None Cowboy Church of Tatum, TX on November 24-27, 2024.
Rodeo Bible Camp is a combination of biblical teaching and rodeo instruction aimed at helping young people in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ while improving their rodeo event skills. No experience is needed, however, if you already compete in rodeo, this gives you a chance to receive some quality coaching to help you improve. Space is limited.
Our instructors are highly qualified and very knowledgeable in rodeo events. There are also Christian team leaders that will work with the students to help them grow in knowledge and faith. Our hope is that communication and relationships between team leaders and students will last long after camp is over.
Camp will begin at check-in at Bar None Cowboy Church on Sunday afternoon. Sleeping arrangements for you and outdoor stalls for your horse will be provided. You will be required to bring your own bedding, cot/air mattress and hay/feed for your horse. The good news is we will provide feed for you! Each day will include chapel time, event instruction, meals and devotion time. On Wednesday afternoon you will compete in a rodeo to show your family, friends and instructors the skills you have learned!
This Rodeo Bible Camp is for ages 12 – 18. Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding and Bull Fighting are senior boys’ events for ages 14-18. If under the age of 14, you may participate in the Bareback or Saddle Bronc riding class, but you will get on steers. Other events offered include Horsemanship, Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Heading, Heeling, Chute Dogging, & Rodeo Clown. Horses can be provided in Horsemanship, otherwise, if a horse is required, you must bring a horse.
On the day of the rodeo, you need to wear proper rodeo attire. Long sleeve western shirts, jeans, boots and a cowboy hat or helmet are mandatory. The rodeo will start at 2:30pm on Wednesday, November 27.
Camp registration fees are $180 for first child, $140 for each additional family member. A deposit of $80 is required with registration of first child, and $40 for each additional child. After you submit this form, you will be emailed a copy of your answers and provided the information for paying the registration fees or deposit. Any remaining amount is due upon arrival. A confirmation packet will be emailed to you before camp starts so please add arena2crosscm@gmail.com to your address book. Medical Insurance is required. Parents, please understand that for the protection of your child, this is a closed camp. This means that any adult on the grounds during camp must be approved staff.
