Church Membership

Membership is important to any church. Accountability, commitment, preserving the purpose of Bar None, sense of belonging, protecting the believers and making decisions are important factors to consider before joining as a member of this church.

Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is written by man – inspired by God. It is perfect, with no mistakes. We believe it to be God’s book of divine instruction, the absolute truth.

There is only one true God, He is living, all powerful, and all knowing. Jesus is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. The Holy Spirit is sent to us by God to guide us and to enable us to understand scripture and convict us of sin. The Holy Trinity is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

God sent His Son to die for our sins. The only way to have a relationship with God and to have a place in Heaven is to believe Jesus Christ is your own personal Savior. You must repent of your sins and believe in Him.

The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Romans 10:9

When God saves you. He gives you spiritual gifts to use to help His Kingdom. We expect you to use those gifts.

Jesus was crucified. He died and He was buried. On the third day He rose from the dead and went to Heaven. He now sits at the right hand of God. There will be a judgment day when everyone on earth, living and dead will be judged. Christ will come back to set up His Kingdom on earth. Only those who believe in Christ will be saved.

What Denomination Are We?

We are inter-denominational – all are welcome. We associate with the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches. We are a stand-alone church.

Leadership Structure

Pastor > Elders > Lay Pastors
Elder role, not elder ruled.

We are a team driven church.

Teams: Audit, Arena, Care, Children, Chuckwagon, Facility, Greeters, Missions, Music, Personnel, Prayer, Production, Public Relations, Small Groups, Youth and Special Events.

You must be a member of the church to be a voting member of a team. You can help on any team without being a church member. Teams have voting members to make decisions. Voting members rotate. Decisions are made by consensus, not by majority vote. If a consensus cannot be reached, then the item is tabled for more prayer. If no decision can be made within the voting members, elders will help make the final decision.

Baptism

Baptism is an act of obedience – it is a public confession of Christ. If you are saved in this church, we will baptize you by immersion. Immersion is a symbol of Christ’s death and resurrection. You die to yourself and are raised a new person in Christ. Your sins are washed away. If you have been baptized in another faith, we will ask you if you have been baptized like Christ. Your answer is between you and God. Baptism does not save you. It is something you will want to do for Christ after you are saved.

Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s supper is open table. It helps keep the memory of what Christ did for us alive for all generations and helps us to anticipate His coming.

Missions

It is a duty and privilege of Christians to participate in telling others about Christ through your actions, words and giving.
