Youth Minister Job Application Written by Administrator, September 11th, 2020 1 Job Description2 Application Youth Minister Job Description Will give primary leadership and pastoral oversight to those at Bar None Cowboy Church who are between the ages of 10 and 18 years old (6th grade- 12th grade students). Will design and implement strategies and ministries that effectively lead students to living intimately with God, living deeper in the community with others, and living lives of influence and impact. Incorporate, in all aspects, the Youth Team motto of “Ride hard. Have fun. Honor God.” Will seek God to discern and champion the spiritual vision for Bar None Cowboy Church’s students and lead in transitioning student ministries towards greater effectiveness and alignment with the church vision. Is responsible to teach the Word and develop spiritual content with western flair. Will provide pastoral care in major crises that happen to youth connected with Bar None Cowboy Church’s student ministries, both students and parents. Shepherd, guide and provide spiritual counsel to the students of Bar None Cowboy Church when required. Develop and manage volunteers by taking time to inspire, consult and resource them to ensure spiritual vibrancy and ministry effectiveness and lead volunteers in the initiation and implementation of new ministry strategies. Must have spiritual support of wife and she must be involved in the youth ministry. Assist the pastor in pastoral duties as requested. Attend school functions, sporting events, 4H and rodeo events in support of youth as well as speaking at such events if given the opportunity.
